Katy and her husband Jacob have been together since high school (2012!), navigating college, long distance, and eventually finding their way back to Reno in 2017 when Jacob joined his family business, Reno Paint Mart. They tied the knot in 2023 and welcomed their baby boy in March 2025. Their home is rounded out by two sweet and wild pups, Maisley and Blue.

When she’s not on the Mega, Katy is happiest outside—fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, skiing, or soaking up the lake in the summer. She’s also a big reader and loves experimenting with sourdough.
