Peach’s sweet little origin story
It all starts with Carli, a young mom and wife. After years of education, Carli started her career in the medical field because she thought it was a way to help people find health. But the ‘corporate’ hospital environment left her burned out and unfulfilled. She knew she had to change course.
 

A lifelong athlete and lover of exercise, Carli knew she wanted to do something that helped people find strength and wellness. Enter Lagree, and Amie. After falling in love with Lagree, Carli trained to be an instructor…
Hold that spot, now, let’s meet Amie
Amie spent decades teaching high school English and absolutely loved it, but stacks of essays take a toll. In 2022, Amie decided it was time to retire and relax. But retirement was –slow and a little empty, so she followed her passion into teaching Pilates and Lagree. It was the perfect shift. 
 

And this is where they meet. 
 

As one of the first trained Lagree instructors in Reno and Level 2 trainer, Amie’s job was not only to teach a killer class, but help new instructors get comfortable teaching Lagree.

Over family, over beliefs, over books, over their love of helping people feel strong in their movement. 
 

Carli loved Amie's work ethic, faith and kindness she showed others. Amie loved Carli’s honesty, focus, and clarity of vision. Ever the encourager, when Carli shared her dream to open a studio, Amie said, “Yes, you can, and you should, and I believe in you!” It became almost immediately obvious that they should unite forces and create the first dedicated Lagree studio in Reno.
And that’s how Peach came to be.

Carli Goodman
Meet Carli, co-founder of Peach Lagree, certified Lagree Instructor and the heart behind the scenes.
Carli spent the first five years of her professional career working in a high-stress acute health care setting. After having her daughter in 2023, she became passionate about creating a life that would allow her to be a mom first, while still providing a positive service to the community she calls home. She’s always been involved in sports and exercise, but after discovering Lagree and experiencing its benefits firsthand, she knew she needed to share it with others. With an amazing business partner by her side, she took a leap of faith and dove headfirst into entrepreneurship—hoping to build a career that offers others strength, confidence, and a true sense of belonging.
Carli can’t wait to welcome you into the studio and help you feel empowered, strong, and seen!

Amie Newberry
Say hello to Amie, co-founder, Level 2 Lagree Instructor and creative force behind Peach Lagree.
At 52, Amie is living proof that it’s never too late to sculpt a dream and a body. Years ago, she stumbled into a Lagree class, and it absolutely wrecked her. And honestly, she’s just never gotten over it. After retiring from teaching high school, Amie followed her passion into the Lagree studio. She thought, “What could be harder than teaching teenagers?” Turns out, the answer is a Lagree class. With over 30 years of teaching experience, Amie brings all heart and a lot of heat to each class. She will correct your alignment, get you lower, make you go slower—but mostly, she’ll help you feel strong, and she will encourage you to sculpt that body, and that dream.
Get ready, Reno—Amie’s bringing the fire, the form, and the heart to every single class. Peach Season is nearly here!

Haley K.
Catfish Queen & Slow Burn Extraordinaire
When she’s not leading a spicy slow burn on the Megaformer, Haley is baking sourdough magic (discard treats included), diving into her next book, or spoiling her feline sidekicks, Romeo and Remi. By day, she keeps things sharp at the Desert Research Institute; by night, she’s all about skiing, golden hour walks, and fresh-air adventures.

Least favorite: French Twist (but she’ll still coach you through it)

Jamie S.
Librarian & Lagree Lover (Level 2 Instructor)
Jamie’s a librarian by day, Lagree instructor by night, and full-time dog lover and baker in between. She thrives on good books, good food, and the challenge of a slow shake.
